Казаки Западного окружного казачьего общества вторую неделю патрулируют тульские улицы. Патруль дежурит на Кауля, Руднева, Оборонной и других.
Всего в ежедневной службе принимают участие две патрульные бригады. Стоит отметить, что смотрят за порядком не только рядовые казаки, но и старшие по чину, а так же старики казачьего общества.
Основная задача казачьего патруля это безопасность жителей. В случае ЧП патруль может придти на помощь, а так же вызвать сотрудников полиции.
Жители города-оружейников положительно воспринимают появление в своих дворах тульских казаков.

Светлана Андреева жительница улицы Руднева: «Вначале не поняла кто ходит по двору, а потом смотрю это казаки. И кстати спасибо им, разогнали молодых ребят, которые сидели, пили пиво под окнами и плевались. Спасибо казакам.
