25 апреля на военном полигоне в пос. Слободка прошли полевые сборы ЗОКО ВКО ЦКВ, в которых принимали участие около 40 казаков из Тулы и Тульской области, в том числе атаман ЗОКО Алексей Альховик и заместитель атамана Олег Дрожкин.
Казаки собирались с утра возле ТЦ Пенаты и к 10 часам выдвинулись на полигон. После молитвы на начало дела и разминочных упражнений под руководством офицера-разведчика Тульской десантной дивизии Романа Гундина в течение двух часов отрабатывались навыки действий разведывательной группы в полевых условиях. Затем под руководством есаула О. Дрожкина были организованы командные силовые игры — перетягивание каната, «стенка на стенку», «ястреб, курица, цыплята».
После обеда (полевая кухня была организована силами казаков) участники сборов обучались обращению с оружием — метанию ножей и стрельбе из пневматического и пейнтбольного оружия. Завершились сборы массовой мужской игрой «Казачий вар».
Атаман ЗОКО А. Альховик на общем построении отметил, что сборы прошли с большой пользой, поблагодарил представителя Тульской дивизии ВДВ, которая в этот день отмечала свой праздник, и вручил подарки юным участникам казачьего общества.
